We install this for indoor courts, gyms, and multi-purpose activity halls specifically — badminton and basketball courts, school gymnasiums, martial arts and fitness studios, and community sports halls are the most common projects we do with this. It has built-in shock absorption, so it reduces joint strain during high-impact activity, and a slip-resistant surface that still performs safely even when the floor gets sweaty or damp. We also do the court line-marking as part of the install, so you're not left sourcing that separately — available in 4.5mm and 5mm thicknesses, or as gym rubber tiles if it's a weights area rather than a court.
