Wooden Blinds

These give you the warmth of real wood slats with the same tilt control you'd get from any venetian blind — open and close the angle to control how much light gets in without fully raising them. We offer both natural wood and a faux-wood option, which looks nearly identical but handles humidity better, so we'd usually recommend faux wood for kitchens or bathrooms and real wood everywhere else. Custom widths are made to order, and you can choose cord or wand operation depending on what's more convenient for the space.

Zebra Blinds

These are the ones we recommend when a client wants more control than a plain roller blind gives them. The fabric has alternating sheer and solid stripes, so sliding it up or down lets you shift between soft, filtered light and full privacy without ever fully opening or closing the blind. Steiner Design Interior fits these a lot in living rooms and home offices, where people tend to adjust the light throughout the day rather than leave it one way.

If a client just wants something clean and low-fuss, this is usually where we start. It's a single flat fabric that rolls up out of the way completely, so there's no bulk or stacking at the top of the window like you get with some other blind types. We offer it in sunscreen, dim-out, and full blackout fabrics, so the same simple style works whether it's going in an office, a living room, or a bedroom.

Mini Blinds

These are built for smaller or awkward windows where a full-size blind doesn't really make sense — kitchens, bathrooms, and utility spaces mostly. The aluminium slats are slim, so they don't eat up much depth on the window frame, and they're moisture resistant, which matters in spaces like these more than people expect. Steiner Design Interior usually recommends these specifically when a client's tried a regular blind in a small window before and found it too bulky.
